Who am I?

My name is Luca and I am the founder of Recall Clothing. Born in Geneva to an Italian family where good food and family time are a way of life, I remember the traditional Sunday meals at my grandparents'. Particularly from my grandfather who loved to get ready for those moments he cherished. I remember the beautiful shirts he wore and his beard, always perfectly groomed. These moments that were engraved in me were the first pillar of the construction of Recall Clothing.

The moment that changed my life

Graduated with a Bachelor in Telecommunications, I started my professional life in the field of IT. These times were very hectic on a personal level, because I had many questions about myself, my desires and my goals in life. This interior instability was transcribed in particular on the physical level by the fact that I did not find my clothing style. Then, on a Saturday, while shopping, I discovered a small shop selling men's clothing and accessories. I remember trying there a shirt on which it was written "Made in USA" and "Made from Cone Mills cotton". That's when my life took a whole new turn ...

The creation of Recall Clothing

It took about four years for the idea for Recall Clothing to take root. Slowly, but surely, I learned the story of the shirt I tried in the little shop. "Cone Mills" ... what a strange name ... I discovered that it was a pioneer factory in the production of denim (jeans) in the United States, in particular thanks to its collaboration with Levi's in the 1900s and the creation of the iconic Levi's 501.
From the memory of my grandfather to the discovery of legendary manufacturers offering the quintessence of textiles available on the market, my path was cleared and my idea of creating Recall Clothing became obvious. Through my shop, I will carry the memory of my grandfather and his sense of detail, highlighting quality products made by companies with family values.
"I always remember those Sundays when my grandfather paid attention to his appearance. Today, everything makes sense when I wear quality clothes made with a nod to the past: when they remind me of emotions, like the ones I felt when I saw my grandfather all these Sundays ... "
