The Story
A faithful reproduction of the legendary ALL STATE double rider jacket originally sold through Sears in the 1950s, crafted from premium horsehide selected for its remarkable quality and character. This is the most complex jacket currently manufactured by Rainbow Country.
Original features such as the action-back construction have been retained to ensure unrestricted movement, while a quilted nylon twill lining provides modern comfort and insulation. Authentic details including a vintage TALON deadstock zipper, custom iron hardware, and shield-shaped studs have been meticulously reproduced to preserve the look and feel of the period original.
The horsehide is finished with a water-based lacquer over a mocha-brown base coat. With continued wear, the top finish gradually gives way, allowing the underlying brown tones to emerge and develop a rich, timeworn patina that enhances the jacket's vintage appeal over time.
