- The Zippers from Rainbow Country jackets are typically vintage (1930s) reproductions, requiring some time for the leather to soften around them and the zipper to move smoothly. When unzipping, ensure the slider reaches the bottom. Although fragile and smaller, these zippers offer a charming antique design.
- Irregularities and leather markings are completely typical and are part of the natural characteristics of the animal, as this leather has received minimal processing.

Adopted by the US Navy in 1947 as a successor to the M422, M422A, and AN-J-3A (AN6552), the G-1 Flight Jacket in Dark Seal Goatskin (RCL-10074) was the first to be named Type G-1 in addition to the spec name. Unlike the US Army Air Corps' A-2 jacket made of horse leather, the Navy used goatskin and added sheepskin fur to the collar, giving it a more rugged appearance.
This unique flight suit was issued from 1947 to 1976 without any changes to its original design, beloved by Navy pilots. Its revival in 1984 was fueled by strong requests from pilots, demonstrating the Navy's pride in the G-1.
While the G-1 continued to be issued without any alterations to its basic specifications, its design and other features varied depending on the contractor and delivery time, making it a coveted item among collectors worldwide.
