The Story
Back in the days, around 1940 to 1950, work-shirts were rarely produced as short-sleeved shirts. There were many workwear brands at that time, but only a few produced short sleeved shirts. That's why, some vintage shirts have their sleeves cut by the wearer for warmer months. Those type of shirts are highly valued in the vintage market.
Jelado wanted to pay hommage to those short-sleeved shirt with a modern fabric reminiscent of Ralph Lauren Madras Check of the 1980s. But they kept the original details of the 1950s work-shirts such as double needle and triple needle stitching, front flap pockets, etc.
